“Meri Kirihimete!”

I’m sure you worked out what “Meri Kirihimete!” means- Merry Christmas. And so to one and all, “Meri Kirihimete!” and a very happy and prosperous New Year to all who visit.The flower is the Pohutukawa, New Zealand’s ‘Christmas’ tree.
Meri Kirihimete is Merry Christmas in Te Reo, the language of the Maori of New Zealand.
