Sad though the incident was when it happened last year, and sad though this story (of the findings of the inquest into the incident) is, it can’t be highlighted enough if it is going to raise people’s (especially young people’s) awareness of the horrors caused by this lethal combination. For 3 young lives to be needlessly lost because our young drivers seem to think they are ‘bullet-proof’ is a horror, but our news continues to report similar incidents. “It can’t happen to me”…CRAP! Wake up, young people. Where is the sense in showing off to your mates if the end result is potentially other mates carrying you down a cemetery path in a box!!!???
